Our Policies

 

Reserving Gliders

You can reserve gliders with a non-refundable deposit. Below are the deposit prices required. The only reason that a deposit would be returned would be if we are not able to provide the glider reserved or if we decide that you are not prepared to care for one of our joeys.

$175 - $300 ~ $50 deposit

$301 - $500 ~ $100 deposit

$501 - $700 ~ $200 deposit

$701 - $900 ~ $300 deposit

$901 - $1100 ~ $400 deposit

$1101 & up ~ $500 deposit

 

Waiting List

Please contact us to be placed on our waiting list. We will give you an approximate date that we will have they joey you request available. No deposit is needed to be placed on our waiting list. When we have a joey available for you, a deposit must be sent right away in order to reserve that glider for you. If we can't get a hold of you, if you don't want the joey, or if you can't pay for the joey, the next person on the list will be contacted. Please contact us for more information.

Complete Payments

The balance for the glider is due at the time of pick up or one week before your glider is shipped. If you are buying a glider that costs over $1000, and would like to get on a payment plan, please contact us. They joey must be completely paid for before going home. If you have any questions about this policy, please e-mail us before you reserve a joey.

Health Certificate

For fifty dollars you can get a health certificate from our vet for your glider.  Because the health of your glider is largely dependent upon the care that you give it, we do not offer a health guarantee. If a joey shows any signs of sickness, it will not be available for sale.

Bringing Your Glider Home

Joeys must be picked up or shipped when they are nine-eleven weeks oop or two weeks after reservation date. For example, if you reserve your glider when it is newly oop, you can either pick it up (or have it shipped) when it is between the age of nine and eleven weeks oop. But if you reserve a glider when it is one year oop, you have two weeks to pick it up (or have it shipped). I we aren't able to get a hold of you, and it is already past the date that you were supposed to pick up (or ship) your glider, your joey will be placed back up for adoption. This policy is void if you make different arrangements that are approved by us before you make a deposit.

Shipping

We do fly (ship) gliders. It is very safe, and the gliders are placed in an air conditioned area similar to the passenger cabin. Your glider is guaranteed to arrive alive and healthy. Along with most of the US, we also ship to some parts of Canada. Shipping is available via Continental Airlines for $175. If you are having your glider shipped to Canada, it is the same price, but you will have to pay an additional $45 at the airport when you pick your glider up. To arrange flights, please e-mail us.

Glider Safety

We want our gliders to go to the best homes possible.  We do our best to screen those that apply to adopt a joey, but if at any time during the adoption process we believe that your are incapable of giving gliders the proper care that they need, we will return all of the money that you have paid for the glider (including the deposit) and the glider will be marked available for adoption. We will only sell our joeys to homes in legal states.
